Jerry D. Warner

WEST LAFAYETTE- Jerry Dean Warner, 60, of E. Russell Ave., passed away Sunday Feb. 17, 2013 after a long battle with cancer.

He was born Aug. 4, 1952 in Coshocton to late Woodrow “Pop” and Mary Jane (Kimmins) Warner, who survives. Jerry graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1970, served in the US Army from 1972-1975, and worked at Clow Water Systems in Coshocton for 22 years as a molding machine operator before becoming disabled in 2012. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, playing cards, and laying on the beach. He was also an avid Ohio State University football & basketball fan.

In addition to his mother, Mary Jane Warner of West Lafayette, Jerry is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Dawn (Parsons) Warner, whom he married June 30, 2004, his brother, Mark (Becky) Warner of Davisburg, MI, two nieces; Julie and Maria of Michigan, two step-daughters; Brandi (Jerry Lewis) Wagner of Dresden, and Michelle (Jason) Beitzel of Coshocton, a step-son, Ben (Maggie) Donaker of Columbus, five grandchildren, , and his mother-in-law, Mickey McKay of Plant City, FL.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday Feb. 23, 2013 at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church, 120 W. Union Ave., with Rev. Sue Chidley and Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Military honors will be performed by the Coshocton Co. Joint Veterans Council. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
